Disappointed would be an understatement this weekend! Saturday actually started strong with the Hytech Concrete #777 qualifying 5th, just 0.09 seconds off pole. Heading into Race 1 we had a lot of confidence in our pace, but unfortunately it only lasted two laps before being taken out by someone who should know better after many years in the category. Queensland Raceway delivered a roller coaster of a weekend, with both highs and lows across the board. Qualifying didn’t quite go to plan. Due to the incident back in Round 1 at Phillip Island, we’ve been set back on the championship standings and placed into the second qualifying group which means we just need to fight that little harder. The opening round of the TGRA Scholarship Series at Phillip Island was an exciting one to kick off the series. We were thrilled to get behind the wheel at our first race. Overall, we felt strong and demonstrated impressive speed. We had excellent practice sessions on Saturday with improvements in each session.
