Round 3 - Queensland Raceway

Queensland Raceway delivered a roller coaster of a weekend, with both highs and lows across the board.

Qualifying didn’t quite go to plan. Due to the incident back in Round 1 at Phillip Island, we’ve been set back on the championship standings and placed into the second qualifying group which means we just need to fight that little harder. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to maximise our position and ended up P14.

In Race 1, we fought hard and moved up to P13. It was a solid effort in a very competitive field.

Race 2 started strong. We had great pace and moved from P13 to P9 after a few safety cars. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side—contact on the front right of the car ended our race early with a DNF. That result pushed us to the back of the grid for Race 3.

The team did an incredible job getting the car back on track for Race 3.

Starting from P32, we fought our way up to P19. The pace was strong early on, but rising tyre pressures in the second half left us with little to fight with.

Overall, a challenging weekend but plenty of positives to take forward. We keep pushing and come back stronger for Round 4 at Morgan Park, QLD.
