Round 1 - Sydney 500

Disappointed would be an understatement this weekend!
Saturday actually started strong with the Hytech Concrete #777 qualifying 5th, just 0.09 seconds off pole.
Heading into Race 1 we had a lot of confidence in our pace, but unfortunately it only lasted two laps before being taken out by someone who should know better after many years in the category.
Race 2 was a real fight. Starting from 26th, we kept our heads down, worked our way through the field and brought the car home in 15th. The car felt strong, the pace was there, and it was a solid recovery drive that showed what we’re capable of when things start to come together.
Going into Race 3 we were confident again. We knew we had the speed to move forward and challenge further up the order. Unfortunately, just two corners into the race we suffered a puncture that split the tyre and ended our race before it had even begun. Moments like that are completely out of your control, and they’re the hardest to take.
Watching the remainder of the race from pit lane, knowing we had the pace and more to give, was tough. Motorsport can be brutal like that. One moment you’re ready to fight through the field, the next you’re sidelined.
That said, there are positives to take away. The speed is there, the progress is clear, and the team continues to put in the work behind the scenes.
We reset, refocus, and come back ready to fight in Townsville.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support the journey, we’ll be back.
And a huge thank you to my sponsors:
